The Code Enforcement Division functions within Special Operations, under the authority of Assistant Chief M. P. Jackson and is under the supervision of Sergeant G. Severs, who directly supervises one patrol officer and one civilian Code Enforcement Officer.

The function of Code Enforcement is to enforce state and local laws and address quality of life issues. Officers tag and pick up abandoned vehicles and authorize their demolition or auction them off, where appropriate. Additionally, they address issues such as high weeds, accumulation of trash and debris, disposal of materials in the storm sewer system, and other such issues.
