The Canine Unit is under the supervision of Sgt. A. Sanders. The Canine Division consists of Officer V. Tang, Officer D. Jenkins, Officer J. Anderson, Officer J. Ridings, and Officer M. Brinker. The officers each handle either single- or dual-purpose canines and the entire unit trains together each week in order to maintain a high skill level of the K-9 teams.
