To encourage accountability and decentralization at the lower division levels, the police department budget has been divided into 21 subdivisions, within the three main branches of the department; specifically, Administration, Uniformed Services, and Investigations.  Administration & Budget is the responsibility of Assistant Chief M.P. Jackson. 

Uniformed Services Bureau is under the direct control of Assistant Chief Bud Corbett .  

Investigations Bureau is under the direct control of Assistant Chief M.P. Jackson. 

Two civilian employees coordinate with each subdivision directly or indirectly in the administration of internal duties and records regarding departmental expenditures, payroll, grants, and purchasing.
