This directory lists all permit, registration, license and form materials for city requirements that are currently available from the Permit Department online. To download a file, please identify your particular form by the title, right click the link associated with it and choose in the context menu that appears. Please note: Due to the loss of the 901 Curtis building during Hurricane Ike, the following departments have moved their operations to the Municipal Services Building (old Police Dept. building), 1114 Davis:

Basement Level: City Marshals, Code Enforcement (Community Development) and Environmental Services departments.

First Floor: Permit, Housing and Health departments.

Second Floor: Public Works, Planning and Community Development, and Neighborhood Network.

Permit assistance is offered between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., but no permits will be issued after 4:30 p.m. each day. Additional permit information is available at 713-475-5575. We apologize for any inconvenience due to the move.
