Contractor beginning water meter replacements
Apr 07 2017 - 02:34:00 pm
A City of Pasadena contractor, WMS (a division of Thielsch Engineering), has started working to replace water meters that are 16 years old or older. This contractor is doing the work as part of a project by the City of Pasadena's Water Dept.

Residents can identify these crews by their WMS shirt (shown here) and their WMS vehicles (shown here).

The process will take between 15-30 minutes per meter. Most water meters are located in the front yard of a property, but access to the backyard may be needed if a water meter is located there.

The contractors will start working on the meter replacement project on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8. They will be working in the following areas:
  • Houston Ave
  • W Houston Ave
  • Johnson St
  • Miami Rd
  • Robinhood St
  • Shaver St
  • Austin
  • W Austin
  • Campbell Ave

More information about the project is available in this video from the Pasadena Channel.
