Easter Eggstravaganza promises an eggcellent good time March 19
Mar 10 2016 - 02:07:00 pm
On Saturday, March 19, kids in Pasadena are invited to come have a hopping good time at the City’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza. The festivities will be held at PAL Gym (2910 Southmore) from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The event will begin with Breakfast with the Easter Bunnies. As they mingle with both Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, kids can enjoy breakfast, courtesy of McDonald's.

After breakfast, there will be a huge egg hunt, which will include thousands of Easter eggs. The hunts are scheduled by age groups; older kids (ages 7-9) will hunt for eggs beginning at 10 a.m., and then at 10:30, children ages 4-6 will search. Egg hunts for the youngest participants—those who are under the age of four—will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Admission to the event is $1 per child, or in lieu of the admission charge, kids can donate one canned, non-perishable food item.

Guests should bring their own baskets to use, and parents are encouraged to bring cameras.

For more information, contact the Pasadena Parks & Recreation Department at (713) 475-7048.
