Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo rolls out the good times

The 65th annual Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo starts on Friday, Sept. 12 and runs through Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Pasadena Fairgrounds. This year’s entertainment line-up includes:

• Easton Corbin -- Friday, Sept. 12
• David Nail -- Saturday, Sept. 13
• Pasadena Memorial High School Band -- Monday, Sept. 15
• South Houston High School Band -- Tuesday, Sept. 16
• Johnny Lee -- Wednesday, Sept. 17
• Jon Pardi and Love & Theft -- Thursday, Sept. 18
• Tracy Byrd -- Friday, Sept. 19
• Roger Creager -- Saturday, Sept. 20

The rodeo starts at 7 p.m. each night. General admission tickets are $15 each; floor access during concerts is $20. Tickets are available online at and at local H-E-B stores.

In addition to the rodeo itself, the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo has many other events coming up during the month of September. One of the most popular is the annual Rodeo Parade, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13. The parade begins at 10 a.m., starting from the intersection of Shaver and Spencer. The parade route travels along Spencer, ending at Memorial Stadium.

Other events in September include: the Little Wrangler Rodeo (Sept. 14), the Livestock Auction (Sept. 18), the BBQ Cook-Off (Sept. 25-27) and the Jr. Chili Cook-Off (Sept. 27).
