Pasadena Strawberry Festival: May 19-21
May 17 2017 - 03:59:00 pm
The Pasadena Strawberry Festival will be held May 19-21 at the Pasadena Convention Center & Fairgrounds. The event, which has been a Pasadena tradition for more than 40 years, features hundreds of vendors, a carnival, two stages of musical entertainment & concerts, an adventure zone for kids, a barbecue cook-off, a 160-team mud volleyball tournament, entertainment and much more.

One of the most popular attractions every year is the World’s Largest Strawberry Shortcake, which typically weighs in at more than 21,000 lbs. and spans nearly 2000 sq. feet.

With two stages for musical performances, the Strawberry Festival will also feature a full line-up of concerts throughout the weekend. This year’s headliners on the main stage are:

  • Wade Bowen Friday, 10 p.m.
  • Kevin Fowler Saturday, 10 p.m.

Admission is $15 per adult, $5 per child (ages 5-12; kids 4 and under are free) and $5 for senior citizens (65 and older). A three-day weekend pass is $30 and, on Sunday only, a family pack (five tickets) will be available for $30.

Proceeds from the Strawberry Festival are used for scholarships for local students and to support community projects. Last year alone, the Strawberry Festival has awarded more than $60,000 in scholarships and donated thousands of dollars to local non-profit community groups.

The Pasadena Strawberry Festival will be held Friday, May 19 from 3 p.m. to midnight; Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to midnight; and Sunday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is held at the Pasadena Convention Center & Fairgrounds, located at 7902 Fairmont Pkwy.
