Apr 26 2017 - 01:52:00 pm
Kites & Fishing will be held this Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Burke Crenshaw Park (4950 Burke Rd). At this free event, families can spend the day outdoors, flying kites and trying their hand at catching fish in the park’s pond.

Kites & Fishing is a completely free event. Bait will be provided, and fishing poles will be available to rent at no charge (must show valid I.D.). In addition, the first 200 children at the event will receive a free kite.

The Pasadena Animal Shelter will also be in attendance at the event with their mobile adoption unit, offering same-day adoptions on a variety of cats and dogs.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to use as they spend the day enjoying one of Pasadena’s most popular parks.
