Neighborhood Matching Grant program now open

The Neighborhood Matching Grant program is now open for the 2017 budget year. The program offers Pasadena residents a proven way to improve the safety, attractiveness and amenities of their neighborhood with assistance from the City of Pasadena.

Who can apply?

Any neighborhood/homeowner association in Pasadena may apply for the program.

What projects are eligible?

Any project that improve the health, safety and welfare of the neighborhood may be eligible. Some project ideas include, but are not limited to:

  • Neighborhood landscaping
  • Security cameras
  • Installation of playground equipment
  • Neighborhood signage
  • Lighting

When are applications due?

All neighborhood/homeowners associations that want to apply for funding need to have seven copies of their applications hand-delivered to the Neighborhood Network Division office (1211 Southmore) on April 11, 2017 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. A neighborhood representative will be required to sign a sheet of delivery when the application is submitted.

When will the grants be awarded?

The Neighborhood Matching Grant review board members will announce the funding decisions to the neighborhood/homeowner associations board members who applied for funding at a meeting on Wednesday, May 3. The meeting will be held at 1 p.m. in City Council Chambers (1211 Southmore).
