Jun 02 2016 - 04:02:00 pm
Readers of all ages can win prizes and attend special programs, events and classes throughout the summer by participating in the Pasadena Public Library's Summer Reading Program. The program is open to all ages, from infants and preschoolers to students and adults, with prizes and programs tailored to each age group.

Registration opens on Monday, June 6 at 10 a.m. at both the central library (1201 Jeff Ginn) and the Fairmont branch (4330 Fairmont). The program is free to participate in, and throughout the summer, participants can earn entries into prize drawings by reading the books of their choice.

The Summer Reading Program also features more than 100 events this summer, including: cooking classes, magic shows, musical performances, financial presentations, yoga, animal shows and much, much more. All of the programs are free, although online registration may be required for some.

More details about each program are available on the library's event calendar. In addition, information about the Summer Reading Program for children is available in this brochure.

For more information, visit the library's website or call (713) 477-0276 (central) or (281) 998-1095.
