Library announces amnesty, new guidelines
Are you avoiding the library because of unreturned
items or a fine too large to pay? If so, the Pasadena Public Library
has an offer you'll want to take advantage of soon. You can limit your total fine to just $10 per overdue account and get those library privileges you miss reinstated.
Pet owners can get a one-of-a-kind collar for their dog or cat through the Collars for a Cause auction, and Pasadena residents have the added benefit of being able to get a collar that also represents – and supports – the city they live in.
Healthy lifestyles and a Dash of fun to go with it
The City of Pasadena is challenging its employees to make a mad dash to a healthier lifestyle in the second annual Wellness Challenge.This year, it will culminate with the City Dash – a complex obstacle course that will be set-up on Sept. 22 at Memorial Park.
Mosquitoes "buzz off" with these control tips
You may notice some all-too-familiar visitors are back in town: mosquitoes. The City's contract for mosquito spraying will be starting soon, but there are plenty of steps that residents can take to help control mosquitoes both on their own property and in surrounding areas.
